Click 'Create new resume', choose a template, and fill in your personal details, work experience, education and skills. The editor auto-saves your progress. When you're done, download a PDF in one click.
What is an ATS-friendly CV?
An ATS (Applicant Tracking System) friendly CV uses a clean layout without graphics, tables or multi-column formats that scanning software can misread. All cv-editor.com templates are designed to pass ATS filters while still looking professional.
Which templates are available?
We offer 12+ professional templates — Helix, Astral, Celestial, Galaxy, Eclipse, Vertex and more. Each template can be customised with different accent colours. Browse them on the Templates page.
Can I download my CV for free?
Building and editing your CV is always free. Downloading a PDF requires an active trial ($2 for 7 days) or a paid subscription ($5/month). The trial gives you full access to all features — cancel at any time.
How does the 7-day trial work?
You pay $2 and get full access to cv-editor.com for 7 days — unlimited downloads, AI resume tailoring and AI cover letters. After 7 days the subscription renews at $5/month unless you cancel before the trial ends.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Subscription and click 'Cancel'. Your access remains active until the end of the billing period. No cancellation fees apply.
What is the AI cover letter generator?
Our AI cover letter tool generates a tailored cover letter based on your CV data and the job description you paste in. It highlights your most relevant experience and adapts the tone to the industry. Available on the Cover Letter page.
How does the ATS checker work?
Paste your CV text or upload a PDF, and our AI analyses it against 20+ ATS criteria — keyword density, format, section headings and more. You'll receive a score and specific tips to improve your pass rate.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All resume data is stored in an encrypted database and transmitted over HTTPS. We never sell your personal information. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.
Can I use cv-editor.com in my language?
Yes — the editor interface is available in 36 languages. Simply change the language via the selector in the top navigation. Your CV content can be written in any language regardless of the interface language.
